Namaste India (North)

My family and I Visited Namaste north at 167 ave, to sum up, the whole experiance was superb from food to service to friendly staff, can't rate them anything less 5 stars and all meat and chicken is Halal. Thank you Namaste

Best Indian food in north side and well behaved staff

I am sad to make this review as I had high hopes with the rating I saw for this restaurant. I explored other Indian food options as my regular Indian restaurant was closed. I ordered delivery about 1.5h prior to closing and I felt my food was atrocious. I tasted nothing but char and burnt taste. I ordered paneer Kadai and palak paneer and both tasted the same. Burnt. There was no flavor what so ever. Along side that, I found it to be EXTREMELY greasy (as shown in the picture). There was so much grease spilled in the paper bag I had the food delivered in. The samosa chat was also extremely underwhelming as it tasted like samosas in yogurt with not much flavor once again. Probably the worst I have tried. Samosa by itself would probably be okay. I can honestly say that I have never let any Indian food go to waste but today I cannot eat these food items because of so many issues with it. Sadly, not even the garlic naan was good because it didn’t taste anything like garlic. I am not sure if the cook just had an off day but based on what I received today and what the ratings are here I am not seeing a correlation. —This comes from a long time Indian food connoisseur. I am always sensitive to the fact that Indian food NEVER tastes the same as spices are apply to food without actual measurements so I will try this place again maybe in a year or so just to see that it wasn’t a bad day for the cook. ‍

I've been to lots, LOTS of Indian restaurants, but, this one made ME feel special. First time Chef came to talk to us, first time server seemed to actually care, first time, as my friend said that we got FREE GABU GAMUUSS!!! Garam glab jaman wow. 5 star, go! I usually take photos but we were too busy eating!!!

Excellent customer service by Ajay and Raman. Food was excellent. Highly Recommend!
