Amazing menu fixed at 34 per head 3 courses fantastic 1st vist to Miller and Carter Scotland and won't be the last melt in your mouth steak and lovely wine
Restaurant was clean and tidy Husbands started of sticky Chapolti chicken was not cooked through and full of fat had to be sent back, second one came and a few bits were the same. The wait time in general was really long, ordered drinks while we had our main, I ordered a glass of rose which took atleast 20mins after ordering and my husband ordered a coke no ice which never appeared. Husbands steak was tasty but not cooked to how it was asked.
Room temperature to hot. Tables far to close together, so close that holding a private conversation is impossible. Food - average, not worth the price.
I have been here a few times in the afternoon and could never fault it, but I took my son last night for his birthday, and to be honest I was really dissapointed, the service was very poor compared to what we’ve experienced before, and the food wasn’t as good as usual. I’m actually put off coming back, which is such a shame because I have enjoyed it so much previously.
The food was fantastic, but we were very disappointed in our table. It was squeezed in and right beside the door in a draft. The waiters knocked the table at least four or five times, nearly upending a drink. We booked this well in advance and to be given such a poor table and treated as an afterthought was very disappointing, especially when people after us were given much better tables. It somewhat ruined the evening. The table was clearly in the way and squeezed in as you’d overbooked. I suggest removing it and being more circumspect with your bookings.
