Miku Vancouver

Ordered takeout and they sent the wrong platter. It's one thing to make a mistake but it's another to not own up to it. The reception was incredibly rude and said it was not their fault. It's a $100 platter and half the items are incorrect. Go elsewhere, they make mistakes and lack accountability. Just look at this photo, that is not a Miku platter.

Been dining here every so often for 10 years or so. The food is great and consistent but the prices are getting to the point where I would rather not eat here anymore. I understand it's not a value Japanese restaurant, but the prices would make more sense if they were about 15% lower. 6 pieces of oshi zushi - which, broken down is just pressed rice and a slice of seafood and some sauce- for $22+ doesn't quite make sense to me anymore.

Sushi prepared and presented in ways almost as unique as the setting.

An absolutely wonderful restaurant with great service! We were torn between the signature Shokai or individual orders of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. The waitress noticed that we contemplating and helped us go through the options and we settled on the shokai, which was definitely the right choice. If you’re coming for the experience, the Shokai gives you a variety of pieces across all the rolls, nigiri, and sashimi.
