McDonald's

I've been eating in McDonald's for nearly 40 years. Also, I've been inspecting food premises for the same amount of time. This McDonald's is by far the filthiest place I've EVER been in. The filth has been on the surfaces for months. I shall be informing Environmental Health at 09.00hrs on the 15th April 2024. It needs to be closed until it has been thoroughly cleaned. The response from the staff was flabbergasting. Appalling, seriously Appalling.

Mcdonald's is always hit or miss but I'd say this branch is decent considering the amount of customers that come through the doors. The food has been decent the last few times I've popped in, table service and kiosks to order available if you don't like waiting around in crowded areas. Cleanliness is better some days than others. Staff could be a bit more friendly but I understand this is a high pressure resturant to work in. Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options from salads to plant based burger. Have not tried them personally but they are available. Parking: No parking available as it is on the main shopping street, I'd recommend to use a nearby parking facility. Kid-friendliness: Kid meals available with toy or book, ice cream, milkshakes, cookies etc for sweet treats. Wheelchair accessibility: Main door is wide enough for a wheelchair but the shop is often so busy I wouldn't recommend trying to get through, maybe use the kiosk and table service if it's quiet enough. disabled toilet available also if required.

Unfortunately, my recent experience at this McDonald's was less than satisfactory. Despite the convenience of fast food, the abysmal customer service and repeated mistakes with my order left much to be desired. From the disinterested attitude of the staff to the frustrating errors in my meal, it was clear that attention to detail and customer satisfaction were not priorities here. Not only was my order consistently incorrect, but the staff seemed indifferent to my concerns, making it a frustrating ordeal rather than a quick and enjoyable dining experience. While McDonald's is known for its convenience and affordability, this particular location fell short in delivering even the most basic standards of service and accuracy. If you value your time and your order being correct, I would recommend seeking your fast food fix elsewhere.
