We went around 3 in the morning. They were understaffed yet out server Dominique was a super star. Apologies if I messed up his name. Not only was he fast, friendly, and efficient, but the manager rolled up her sleeves and helped to give phenomenal service also. They were truly a delight. I mean everything we had was amazing. Chips and queso, street tacos, meatball sub, turkey and brisket hero (is the bbq sauce a house special cuz wow! Delicious). All of it amazing quality and especially at 3 in the morning. We've definitely found our new late night or even daytime spot. Also if the weather is nice the patio is lovely and inviting. They even have games out there. Can't wait to come back! Excellent job Katz . From now on anyone who comes to town to visit us is coming to Katz!

The food was good! I got the Monte Cristo and it was really good however the bread was soggy at the ends & it also made me sick. i went around 7:30 am and it was completely empty and i waited at least 5-7 minutes before someone came to take my order. The servers were really nice but i gave it 2 stars only because im sick. And it also has a slight smell.

Benny was our Server. She needs more work on when to put orders in. We received our main course before getting our appetizers, to which came in 10 minutes after the main coarse. The anticipation if our needs were not met. The quality of service was not a great experience

Let’s talk about accountability. I visited this location yesterday on March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day ☘️. I arrived at Katz around 8pm to grab a late dinner with a friend. I haven’t been to Katz in a while and my friend suggested we go to try the potato pancakes, she liked them a lot the last time she visited there. When we arrived, I did notice no one was a the hostess stand so we had to wait a little time for someone to acknowledge our presence. Once we were seated, I noticed how much of a variety they had on their menu and I was looking forward to having something yummy. So our waitress shows up, Meredith. She seemed disheveled, and not quite happy, but I thought nothing of it. We told her to please bring us some hot tea while we perused the menu. Fast forward to 20 minutes later, still no tea. We did however see Meredith going back and forth to other tables basically ignoring us, at least that’s what it felt like. Then the manager, Whitney showed up and inquired if we were satisfied with our service and we thought, ahhh no, thank goodness you came. We explained to her that we ordered tea now 25 minutes ago and we were ready to order at this point. Whitney takes our order and apologized for the lack of service. Still Meredith was treating us like we were invisible, LITERALLY walking so fast and making a point to avoid us. We had 3 different tables orders sent to us, probably should have taken it because we were not going to get ours , but we sent them back. Finally the food started to show up. We got 2 orders of the potato pancakes, which we ordered one. I received my food, but my friend was left high and dry. When we saw Whitney again we told her that we didn’t receive one entree and she blamed the kitchen . I couldn’t believe the lack of accountability with these people. So they prepared my friends food to go, bc at this point we had, had ENOUGH. Then who shows up, Meredith , to give us the check, like wow, really. So I asked her to get the manager, here comes Whitney again. I cannot say I was happy to see her seeing she didn’t resolve anything from the start. I told her that this has been one of the worse experiences I have had in MY LIFE, seriously. I wasn’t expecting much, only our order to be taken and food brought back fresh and hot. I explained to Whitney that Meredith is a horrible server, she either doesn’t give a f*<% about her job, or us not sure which one, but it’s evident. So she offered more empty apologies. So then the wait started again for Meredith to come with the check. We watched her go back and forth, not daring to come to our table and face us. After another 20 minutes she finally comes and asks if we spoke to the manager?? I’m thinking is this woman crazy, she saw the manager speaking to us, I know she heard me telling the manager what a horrible server she is, but whatever. They credited us my friends food and I paid for mine. Then when she handed me the machine to pay had the unmitigated nerve to have the tip set for 25% . Now I know for certain she isn’t playing with a full deck. I politely zeroed that out and paid for the food. Then when we were leaving I spot what looked like a manager and I got excited, because Whitney was acting like she was scared to say anything to Meredith. We approached Perry and he said he was a manager, yay! I told him everything that happened and to my surprise instead of rectifying the situation, he offered up more excuses for the bad service I received. Moral of the story, be accountable and fix the situation. As a patron I don’t expect to be hit with every excuse under the sun, just fix it!
