Let me start off by saying that they have the best mac and cheese I have ever had. But what turned me off about this place was the woman at the register didn't give me my change because they supposedly "didn't have change." the other black employee there was very nice and helpful. Chicken however was dry and it tastes like it has been sitting out there for a while.

Absolutely Not the same as my last experience 8 years ago. Almost convinced ownership/management has changed. I love and cherish good soul food and I know better. I need my salmon and greens to be flavorful you know seasoned well. Monday unfortunately was my last experience I didn’t appreciate having to doctor up my food.

Vegetarian options: Cabbage is good.

I liked the food. I ordered a baked chicken breast and one fried, with macaroni and cheese. I will definitely return.
