This is a fusion restaurant of Japanese and French, The food, dessert and tea are excellent , a very busy place, there is a big lineup for a table. They don't take reservations unfortunately, they do first come first serve system, but the food deserves the wait! Highly recommended!
Definitely a cute cafe and Japanese fusion. Casual place and good for comfort Japanese food… the restaurant is small, so it felt a bit crowded. I had a good time nonetheless.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food came out relatively fast and it tasted yummy. We were only staying around the area for a day. Glad we found this while walking! We had a baby with us and they were equipped with high chair and baby utensils. Vancouver does offer a lot of yummy stuff I know but this is a neighbourhood gem. Their smoothies were really refreshing. Parking: Small plaza but with free parking available on site.
One of my favorites places in Van. Uniquely delicious!
Went here for lunch since it’s close to where I work. It was empty when I came and got packed few minutes later. The servers were polite but feel like they were in a hurry. The food I got was good, however the hamburger steak tasted like it was not fresh. I only had 1/3 of it. The portion was ok and it was a bit pricey for its size. I will come back to try other food on the menu and give them a chance.
We got the famous Masago de Creamy Spaghetti with Hamburger patty, Chicken Nanban and croquette. The pasta was so creamy with a nice umami taste, it wasn’t too heavy or rich either. The nanban was good, a bit oily. The croquette was surprising because we were expecting mostly mashed potato on the inside but it was a mix of rice, pork, potato, beans, and others. It paired really well with the sauce provided!
