Lovely venue!

We enjoyed our magical wedding at the very unique Box Hub. We struggled for ages to find the perfect venue for our special day, and we knew straight away that this was the venue for us. Matt was really easy to work with and he couldn’t do enough to make sure that everything about the venue was just as we wanted it for our big day. The venue was absolutely stunning and the staff team on the night were so helpful. Loads of our guests commented on what a unique and special place BoxHub is and we couldn’t have picked a better place for our wedding. Thank so much for everything guys!

My wife and I used BoxHub as a wedding party venue in September. Matthew was very easy to work with and allowed us to make the space our own although it's so well decorated we hardly had to do anything! The audio/visual equipment allowed us to play our own music for the evening and put up pictures/videos from our wedding day on the big screen. There was an issue with the speakers during a test 2 hours before guests arrived but Matthew phoned for someone to come and fix it in plenty time before our first guests came in. Bar staff were all superb throughout the evening as well and were super friendly with all our guests. Although we had a small wedding up north we wanted to celebrate with more of our friends and family who stay in the central belt and BoxHub was the perfect place for it. They made several improvements to the venue between our first visit and our actual party and I know they are making more (the roof space looks like it will be an incredible spot). Overall I can't recommend it enough if you're thinking about hosting an event/party.

Negative impact for local residents and local businesses, south Street location, damaging to customers getting to local businesses around the area potentially causing loss of business, they have no control on south Street location or consideration with parking. They don't have dedicated parking which results in their customers clogging up the local area. Clearly have no care for there new neighbours, Location is in an industrial area not a live venue area makes.no sense why they were allowed to open this location

Booked my son's 18th Birthday party almost a year ago, that is when I first met Matt. I knew from that first meeting that I wanted the venue, Matt was excellent, so accommodating. His enthusiasm for the venue is contagious. We had two other visits planned that day but I cancelled both of them. Jump forward almost a year and we had the party on the 11th of November. Matt and his staff were amazing through the build up and onto the night. First lets start with the venue, stunning, there is something different about it, we loved the flexibility of the seating being able to extend the dance floor. The DJ loved the venue he said it was one of the most straight forward setups he had ever had. The lights on the ceiling just make it that little more special, I can definitely see why people have this as a wedding venue. Now for the staff on the night, from the door man to the bar staff everyone was exceptional. They couldn't do enough to make Hayden's party something special. Friendly, professional and courteous. My wife turns 50 next year and if we are having a party it will definitely be here. Thank you so much Matt and the team.

Really recommend this venue if you are looking for a space for a party/wedding/event. We booked Box Hub to celebrate getting married two years ago and had over 60 friends and family attend. The event went well and the staff were great. The space is lovely and can either be decorated or you can easily use it as is. We decided not to do any decorations for the event and it looked great! Matt was super helpful and flexible during the whole process of booking, planning and during the event. Could not recommend more!

Amazing and unique venue. Hired for a birthday ceilidh, easy and quick communication. Great pricing compared to a lot of other venues in Glasgow. Bar staff all very friendly. We had the freedom of arranging our own catering and band and setting up the venue how we wanted it to be. Would highly recommend.

We recently held my daughters 21 st at Boxhub, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for a great night . The decor and flexible space allowed us to add our own stamp to it and created a great atmosphere. The staff on the night were very attentive and efficient. The feedback we got from all guests confirmed it was the right choice . Complimented by The Wood Fire Pizza Truck which was also a big hit

One star is for the decency of the venue to email back. My partner had the misfortune of dealing with this venue: - Dismissive customer service - Shambles in communication, with us having to follow up with the venue for details and updates - Disappointing compensation resulting in almost ruining the celebration Backstory We had enquired in February 23 to hire the venue in November this year for an important family celebration, only to be told THE MONTH BEFORE that they were double booked and that nothing could be done. The event was booked months in advance with no updates from the venue or correspondences about catering, decorations, etc. It was only when we emailed to confirm a few details that we were told about the double booking. Had we not emailed the venue WHO KNOWS WHEN they would have got in touch with us. Conclusion A full refund was provided and a lacklustre and cold apology was given, but with less than a month to go for the celebration we are glad that we no longer have to deal with this venue. Anyone wishing to hire the venue BEWARE and do so AT YOUR OWN RISK.

AVOID! Boxhub double booked and cancelled my important family event with little to no correspondence. I wasted money on catering, invites, decorations, and had family travelling from far afield. The venue were incredibly unpleasant to deal with and made the experience extremely stressful. Event management was incredibly poor. Throughout the booking process I received little to no correspondence. I provisonally booked the event 7 months ago. I found out my event was double booked only 8 weeks prior to when it was meant to take place after enquiring for details. The venue were quite happy to take my money without question. They explained they had no record of my booking. Boxhub's communication was terrible. They did not offer to phone me or send apologies from a senior member of staff. I was also not given reason why the other event went ahead over mine. Their response to my emails had no compassion, offering blunt and frank unhelpful replies. I was really hurt at how this was dealt with, all the while dealing with, and failing to, find an alternate venue for my event. Boxhub offered alternative nights for my events (sundays or weekdays) with a minimal bar tab (amounting to about 1.5 drinks each). They still expected me to pay for venue hire. After wasting money on suppliers for my previously agreed event date, this offered no consolation. Having accepting fault for the mixup, I expected better compensatory measures. Instead they offered one of their quiet nights so they could make more money from my event. As an events space, Boxhub should have dedicated, supportive and experienced events managers. It was clear from my experience, this is not the case. If planning to use this events space for an important life event, I strongly recommend a looking for an alternative venue with a more robust and trustworthy booking process.
