Big garden centre with few outlet shops

My Aunt and I are regulars at this beautiful garden centre and have come to know all the wonderful staff that you have both in the cafe and garden centre itself. My grandmother also used to come with us on our trips and she too became well known amongst the staff and, when she sadly passed away last month all the staff were so so lovely, caring and attentive without beinf intrusive at all. Honestly, it was so lovely for my Aunt and I. The staff make this garden centre and we are so grateful for their constant hard work. The items throughout are also so beautiful and, beautifully decorated and the food/drink.. always amazing! Thank you for all the joy you've given to my Aunt and I.

Brilliant as always

Shopping centre excellent.... Food appalling. Given wrong order, poached egg, which were not runny, instead of scrambled. Toast that was as thin as a crisp and dirty cutlery. The cutlery was given to us after the food was served which meant food also was cold. After returning my food I was offered a complimentary coffee. The manager didn't even have the decency to discuss with me. After a great shopping experience I'm now going home hungry and with a jaded view of blue diamond....

Looking this place

Had an afternoon tea here on Tuesday to celebrate my friend's upcoming birthday and it was absolutely wonderful. We were very pleasantly surprised as a lot of them these days opt to just throw some traybakes on the plate but not this one. Lovely and full sandwiches and beautiful and tasty cakes. Personally the great big scone wasn't very dainty and I would prefer two small scones but it was still delicious. Sarah served us and we couldn't have been looked after any better. We had 3 lots of drinks each all included. It really was great and Sarah had better get ready as we are coming back in May and August for more birthdays including my own biggie in August!! Thank you so much.

The shopping experience is very good but the cafe service has changed. They now sit you down and serve you rather than collect your own pay and sit down. It is terrible the food came quickly but the coffee we had to wait over 10 minutes for and with our young grandson this is not good!!!!!! They need to revert to original way of collect your own and pay first.
