Good mexican standby in the neighborhood

The shrimp burritos are delicious, the margaritas are good, the service is enjoyable, and the atmosphere is chill.

So I ordered food to go at the bar that came to $62 and change, I hand the younglady $80 and she gave me back $17 dollars and when I asked her about it she said oh we just round up, but if you need it… Wow, if I need it? I asked to speak with the manager and he said yeah that’s the policy but if you need it No if y’all need it…. I tried to explain that when you do silly stuff like that without even saying as much as “hey we don’t have change, we round up” you block from whatever tip you were actually going to get and the manager, Sherwood Jones, didn’t understand, go figure. I like the food here and sometimes they even have an amazing bartender but the service is lackluster and management leaves much to be desired. They have no clue what service is and asking me if I need my change when you are the ones working and keeping it without asking is super disrespectful and reflects poorly on this establishment. And yes I did leave a tip anyway but they did absolutely nothing to deserve it.

We were seated pretty quickly. Food was great. Ambiance was good too. For appetizers, we had the fried plantain (a special), Yuca Fries with Chiptole Mayo, and Chips & Guacamole Tradicional. For mains, we ordered a chimichanga, burrito, chicken mole and enchilada verde. All were tasty goodness. Food came out fast, furious & fresh as hell. Solid food & service in Northern Liberties.

Not a bad spot. Good food . Chill atmosphere

Justin was serving us and was amazing. Friendly and helpful, great job. Ordered vegan food, everything was delicious and full of flavour.
