Divine food, amazing staff and the atmosphere is humble and cozy. the backyard boys truly know what they’re doing!!
First of all i found hair in my sandwich and O had to wait by that time my partner had already finished their sandwich and then I got the sandwich it was good but too salty for my taste. THEY DIDN’T EVEN OFFER A COOKIE for this inconvenience I had to wait and I was so disgusted i usually lose my appetite when I see hair. Awful service all i got was “sorry”. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN
The bun was super soft and fresh, and steak was cooked to perfection. The chimichuri was a bit too spicy for my liking, but I loved the fact that it did not have any cilantro in it
The food was not bad, the meat has no choice as to how you would like. I feel if it was an option.. boy would this explode. But its not an option. So if you like your meat to go " moo" you'll enjoy it. They responded that the pork is fully cooked.. so I guess if you don't like your steak to say "moo" then you got pork as a choice because there is a no well done policy. The chimi that comes with it in the bun because it's just meat, bun, and chimi no other sauces in there was personally not bad. I'm not a fan of my meat like this. So the chimi really pulled me through eating it. If there was an option here I would come back, but since it's only marketed to a specific preference, I can't come back. If that is your preference though, might as well try it. And you judge yourself.
Ugh Phenomenal !!!! Love it everytime! Parking: Got to walk 200m for parking. Not bad
The sandwich seasoning is fine, but a few pieces steak are hard to chew even it looks like medium rare. Would recommend pre-order, otherwise you might need to wait over 15 min.
Today was my first, and certainly not my last, steak sandwich from Bear Steak Sandwiches on College St. in Toronto. Fresh, delicious and served up by some of the friendliest fellas in the city - and one is co-owner! Now I know what all the fuss about, and I’ll be back. Highly recommend!!
