Service and atmosphere were top notch, the Linguini alle Vongole was not. I’ve never had one of my favorite dishes taste like it had mushrooms in it or a mushroom sauce. The dish did not taste like a traditional white clam sauce. So disappointing. My husband had filet mignon and was also disappointed, enough to only eat 4 bites. He said it tasted gamey. The hearts of palm salad was very good and the drinks were delicious. We really wanted to like Baci but both of our dishes we disappointing.
Not a good place to go if you have allergies. They sent me out a plate with butter despite indicating I have a dairy allergy and said to just ignore that part of the plate. Clearly have no clear how allergies work And expected me to just scrape it off the steak.
They occasionally offer take out when the kitchen is not too busy. Great food...Great service!
Good, although conservative, italian restaurant. Calamari appetizer was okay. Pastas were good, as is the (expensive) lambchop. Creme brulee was average.
One of San Diego's secrets. We have passed by many times. Finally, made it here and we were very pleased. The interior, the white table cloths, nicely dressed and professional waiters were all perfect. The menu is diverse with all solid choices. The Berkshire tomahawk pork chop was melting with nice potato mash and crisp veggies and veal ossobuco risotto was solid. The dessert is very well made and delicious-tiramisu and pistachio gelato. Overall experience 5 star!
Excellent food! Nice gem to find Authentic italian food in San diego.. service was friendly, their food was amazing we ordered lobster sauce pasta and the pappardelle with lamb ragu . And for appetizer, the best burata Ive ever had! Will definitely come back
